PRIMO JAPAN Inc. is pleased to announce that, beginning in April 2017, we will begin offering certified diamonds accompanied by Diamond Grading Reports prepared by International Institute of Diamond Grading & Research (IIDGR), the specialist diamond research institute of the De Beers Group. Our IIDGR-certified diamonds will be available through our specialist bridal jewelry store I-PRIMO, which is currently expanding to new locations both in Japan and other Asian countries. (*1)

At I-PRIMO, we painstakingly select only the highest quality diamonds and adhere to strict quality standards. For the central stone of our engagement rings, we use only loose diamonds that have been certified as “Excellent”, and our “Heart & Cupid” line uses only a careful selection of melee diamonds with a diameter of 1 mm or less that are certified to be of the highest quality. Diamond Grading Reports, prepared through expert appraisals conducted according to international appraisal standards, are provided for all of these diamonds. (*2)

The De Beers Group of Companies is one of the world's largest diamond mining, distribution and sales conglomerates and has lead the world diamond market for almost 130 years. IIDGR, a De Beers affiliate, is the only research institute worldwide specializing in diamonds. Through our common corporate mission to deliver to customers high-quality diamonds that conform to Kimberley Process (KP) standards for social responsibility, PRIMO JAPAN Inc. has entered into a partnership with IIDGR.
