Primo Japan Inc. will air a new television commercial for the bridal jewelry brand “I-PRIMO” from April 7, 2018 (Sat.) in most parts of Japan.

The popular actor Ryo Yoshizawa and former Nogizaka46 performer Mai Fukagawa star in this new television commercial. It tells the universal story of a couple spending time together “The Day After” the marriage proposal, exploring their feelings of abundant love and care for one another. “The Day After” suggests not only the happiness and euphoria that comes from the proposal itself, but also a wide range of emotions that a man and woman experience individually as they approach marriage –compassion for each other, a little anxiety, expectations for their new life together, and much more – embodied in the characters played by Yoshizawa and Fukagawa. The main slogan, “A token of our love, the beginning of us,” conveys the joy of giving an engagement ring as proof of eternal love along with the “just the two of us” approach to contemporary love and marriage that is becoming increasingly mainstream.

 

With the opening of our I-PRIMO Kofu Store location on April 27, 2018, the total number prefectures and major metropolitan areas in which I-PRIMO stores have been established nationwide will reach 44 in total. We hope to widen the extent of our brand recognition even further through this television commercial.
