Primo Japan Inc. conducted a Work Experience Program for teenagers as a part of its CSR activities titled “PRIMO RING PROJECT.”

The program is titled Work Experience by Bridge for Smile (B4S), a Tokyo-based nonprofit organization, and its goal is to provide effective work experiences for teenagers who live in children's home. Since 2010, Primo Japan has conducted various wedding-related programs in collaboration with B4S.

On August 17, Primo Japan held this year's Work Experience, with five teenage girls participating. We started with a lesson in etiquette demonstrated through short plays so that participants can easily understand what manners are appropriate and how to be polite in business. Then, at I-PRIMO Ginza Flagship Store, they could learn the joy of wedding business as well as the successful communication skills with customers through roleplay exercises and handling diamond rings. At the end of the program, Naoki Sawano, President of Primo Japan along with all project members, encouraged participants to choose a path for future work that best suits them, and, in addition, to think about their own marriage in future.
The students participating commented on the questionnaire that they had good time, that they found many things to learn, and that they became interested in the wedding business.

Primo Japan will enhance our CSR activities through "PRIMO RING PROJECT".
