Primo Japan Inc. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Naoki Sawano) announces that as part of its social contribution activities, its cross-company CSR project team, Primo Ring Project, has made a donation toward the construction of a preschool facility in Nepal. The donation was made through Plan International Japan, a non-governmental organization (NGO).

This year marks the ninth year of the Primo Ring Project, and this is the fourth educational facility it has supported following construction of schools in Vietnam in 2008, the Philippines in 2010, and Thailand in 2013. Primo Japan has always emphasized the importance of educating its personnel by providing places for learning throughout Asia. This ongoing support is intended to help the people of these countries to become polished individuals, thus contributing to the development of whole Asia.

Primo Japan’s support for these schools comes not in the form of a short-term assumption of construction costs, but is a long-term effort intended to maintain and enhance learning standards at these facilities.

■In 2013, Primo Japan supported construction of an elementary school in Thailand.

Detailed reports on the activities of the Primo Ring Project are available on our website at:

Primo Japan Inc. will continue to promote its social action programs through the Primo Ring Project in the hope of bringing happiness to as many people as possible.
