Primo Japan Inc. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Naoki Sawano), operator of bridal jewelry specialty stores, announces that its cross-company CSR project team Primo Ring Project recently participated in a beach cleaning event as part of its social contribution activities. The clean-up, which was held in cooperation with Recruit Co., Ltd.'s Zexy CSR Promotion Group, was conducted on May 23 on the beaches to the west of the Chigasaki fishing port in Kanagawa Prefecture.

The day of the clean-up began with a briefing by the event's hosts, the Kanagawa Coastal Environmental Foundation, which included an explanation of the route trash follows before washing up on the area's beaches, and the various effects the trash has on the local environment. About 20 people in total participated in the joint beach clean-up, including staff of the Chigasaki Geihinkan and Hayama Guest House C33, two local wedding venues that are members of the "Shonan Local Wedding with Zexy" project, a collaboration between wedding magazine Zexy and wedding halls in the Shonan area.

Going forward, Primo Japan will continue to promote its social contribution programs through the Primo Ring Project.
