Primo Japan Inc., announces that as a part of its CSR activities titled “PRIMO RING PROJECT,” two clean-up activities in Toyama and Sapporo were held as below.

1) A clean-up activity at Iwasehama Beach, Toyama city (June 29, 2016)
Following to the last year’s clean-up event in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, we conducted another event in Hokuriku at Iwasehama Beach in Toyama, before summer comes when people enjoy swimming and playing on the beach. Despite the fact that Iwasehama is famous for its beautiful scenery in combination with white sand beach and ever-green pine trees, more litter was found than we had expected. Seven members including sales staff at the I-PRIMO Toyama store collected enough litter to fill six large plastic bags. After the event, we found there were little litter left on the beach and it made us feel satisfied. We also realized that our CSR activities can also make people happy, especially the children in neighborhood who we met on the day.

2) A clean-up activity in Souseigawa-Park, Sapporo city (July 6, 2016)
We have held annual clean-up activities in Sapporo, Hokkaido Prefecture. Ten members, including sales staff at I-PRIMO Sapporo Store and Lazare Diamond Boutique Sapporo Store, participated in this year’s clean-up activity at Souseigawa-Park located in the very heart of the city, where people enjoy playing and taking a walk. We collected a lot of litter in addition to pulling weeds. The cleaned-up scenery after the event was refreshing for everyone.
