On July 25, 2008 (Friday), Primo Japan Inc. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Naoki Sawano), which operates Japan’s largest chain of bridal jewelry specialty stores, joined Tokyo Diamond Exchange (TDE), an organization made up of the major diamond dealers in Japan. Through TDE, Primo Japan was admitted as an official member of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) on October 1, 2008. WFDB is an international organization whose purpose is to share information and resolve problems facing the global diamond trade. Through our company’s membership in the WFDB, we are joining a trusted network of more than 10,000 diamond dealers not only supplying the jewelry industry in Japan, but also 20 countries worldwide, with the aim of upholding high standards of compliance and reliability.

During our membership application process, our company was rigorously evaluated for our dedication to selling only conflict-free diamonds. We continue to encourage conflict-free actions in the rest of the world, and will also strive to obtain the latest news on domestic and international diamond markets so that we can provide accurate information on diamonds to our customers.
