On 10/28 (Wed.), Primo Japan Inc. participated in the 8th International Jewellery Tokyo Autumn special lecture and discussion panel, “What’s Next? The Jewellery Industry After COVID-19”.

◆A Discussion Panel with Major Industry Leaders

International Jewellery Tokyo Autumn, organized by Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd., is Japan’s largest trade fair focused on sourcing and purchasing jewellery. This year marks its 8th major jewellery exhibition, with 310 manufacturers and wholesalers exhibiting, and numerous buyers and trade visitors in the jewellery industry coming to the three-day exhibition, held from 10/28 (Wed.) to 10/30 (Fri.).

At one of the events, Naoki Sawano, President of Primo Japan Inc., appeared as a panelist for a special lecture and panel discussion held on the trade fair’s opening day, 10/28 (Wed.), titled “What’s Next? The Jewellery Industry After COVID-19: A Discussion with Major Industry Leaders” and addressing issues facing the jewellery industry such as industry forecasts after the coronavirus pandemic, digital culture’s effects on the jewellery industry, and other topics. In addition to Primo Japan, Festaria Holdings Co., Ltd. and F.D.C. Products Inc. also participated. The session was a valuable opportunity for three bridal jewellery companies to speak at the same time and talk about the bridal jewellery industry in the age of COVID-19, and, with a large audience gathered at the venue, it was a great success. In addition, regarding the future of the bridal jewellery industry, all three companies expressed their strong desire to “strengthen ties between companies and work together to revitalize the industry.”
