Primo Japan announces the grand opening of the “Lazare Diamond Boutique Chiba” store on March 26, 2021 at Perie Chiba, the shopping mall adjacent to the JR Chiba Station building.

◆ Lazare Diamond Boutique to expand market share in the Kanto area

Primo Japan operates fifteen Lazare Diamond Boutique stores, mainly in major cities, as specialist dealers of “Lazare Diamonds” through a sales agreement with the New York diamond-cutting brand Lazare Kaplan. The Lazare Diamond Boutique Chiba Store is our 16th boutique, and our first store opening in two years and five months, since the opening of the Lazare Diamond Boutique Dai Nagoya Building store in November 2018. By opening this Lazare Diamond Boutique location in Chiba Prefecture, the only prefecture in the Tokyo metropolitan area and surrounding three prefectures without a boutique to date, we aim to increase market share in the Kanto area.

Perie Chiba, a shopping mall operated by East Japan Railway inside the Chiba Station Building, had its grand opening in June 2018. Conveniently located just a minute’s walk from Chiba Station, a major railway junction, there is also parking available for those shoppers coming from around Chiba Prefecture by car. The boutique is located on the fourth floor, with direct access to a JR station ticket gate, and we expect to attract shoppers in search of bridal merchandise at neighboring dress shops and jewelry stores from among the many people passing through. The opening of this Lazare Diamond Boutique Chiba store makes it easier and more convenient than ever for customers coming to the Tokyo metropolitan area to find Lazare Diamond products.

By expanding the entrance to the store, we are creating a greater sense of openness so that more customers can come inside. In addition, we’ve installed four spacious private booths inside the store, shielding our customers from view of the entrance as much as possible.
