Thursday, March 28, 2024. An entrance ceremony for 39 new Primo Japan employees was held at the Tokyo Station Hotel. Smiles of joy upon reuniting with peers and expressions of relief at having successfully joined the company after the six-month training period were witnessed here.
To start the ceremony, President Fujie of Primo Japan extended his congratulations to new employees.
"Congratulations on joining the company. As our company philosophy states, we are a group of professionals dedicated to helping our customers find happiness. That is why I want you to learn to be people who are kind to others. Being kind to others means having the strength to be kind. I would appreciate it if you could keep in mind the phrase 'be strict with yourself and kind to others.’
You cannot help others unless you are strict with yourself and work to improve yourself and become stronger. I'd be delighted if you could hone yourself into someone who is strong yet sensitive.
It is my hope that you will become companions who work hand in hand to refine one another's skills while honing your own individuality, and eventually become leaders at Primo Japan.
On behalf of the new employees, Akira Hirayama gave a speech in response.
"Bridal jewelry serves as 'a part of the body.' These words, shared with me by senior employees instructing me at the same store, resonated deeply with me. And that a single ring encapsulates the love of two people. My seniors taught me the value of being present at the moment when a person chooses the right ring for someone to spend their life with. The pride taken in each brand and their stance of sincerity fills me with motivation. I will never forget the value of doing a job that brings so much joy and will do my best every day to provide customer service that creates memories and leads to a bright future for our customers.
I am overjoyed to take my first steps as an employee at Primo Japan. Although we still have much to learn, we will approach everything with enthusiasm and work diligently to contribute to the company as soon as possible.”
After the entrance ceremony, the new employees attended a three-day, two-night training camp before taking up positions in stores across the nation.
Going forward, we will strive to provide high-quality services that are close to the hearts of all our customers together with our new companions.
