Primo Global Holding Co., Ltd. is relocating its I-PRIMO Hangzhou MixC Store in Hangzhou, China, which will reopen on Friday, March 29.

◆Increasing Awareness of the I-PRIMO Brand

Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province, with a population of approximately 12 million*. It is one of the eight major ancient cities of China and is about one hour from Shanghai by high-speed rail, so it is visited by many tourists from home and abroad. In 2022, nearly 65,000 couples got married in Hangzhou, and with disposable incomes at the same level as such Tier 1 cities as Guangzhou and Shenzhen, this is an attractive bridal market.

Primo opened the I-PRIMO Hangzhou MixC Store in May 2018 as its second store in Hangzhou and has continued operating in the same location, but decided to renovate the store design to increase awareness of the i-Primo brand and attract even more customers.

◆The MixC Mall Hangzhou, a Shopping Center That Brings Foreign Luxury Brands Together

The MixC Mall Hangzhou is a large luxury shopping center that boasts the highest number of international brands in Hangzhou and is expected to attract a highly discerning customer base. The mall contains about 1000 stores, and alongside many other jewelry brands, we anticipate a positive effect from customers shopping around for bridal rings. Furthermore, the mall is directly connected to Qianjiang Road Station on Lines 2 and 9 and to Jiangjin Road Station on Line 4 of the Hangzhou Metro, and this excellent access is expected to further increase brand recognition.

Since developing our first overseas store in Taiwan in October 2007, we have expanded our store locations to Hong Kong in 2012 and mainland China in 2016. As of the end of the fiscal period in August 2023, our overseas sales ratio has exceeded 50%, and we aim to make further progress by continuing to open stores overseas. In addition to the existing stores in mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, we opened our first store in Singapore in November 2022, and through fine service and hospitality and the I-PRIMO brand’s high Japanese standards of product quality, we intend to provide overseas customers with a wide range of purchases that will create the memory of a lifetime.
