The D&I Award is one of Japan's largest awards certifying and commending companies striving toward diversity and inclusion (D&I) and comprises a five-item evaluation index of Gender, LGBT+, Disability, Multiculturalism, and Parenting/Nursing Care, each of which is subdivided into the five elements of Declaration, Education/Promoting Understanding, HR Systems, Community, and Work Style. Primo received the Advanced Award in recognition of the fact that “the company has promoted advanced diversity and inclusion initiatives and serves as a role model for diversity and inclusion among Japanese companies. While engaging in a wide range of multifaceted initiatives, the company has fostered a corporate culture in which every employee respects diversity and inclusion and is continuing to work on further reform.” Primo Japan will continue working to spread understanding within the group company to create a comfortable working environment.
