Primo Global Holding Co., Ltd. is relocating its I-PRIMO Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Xinyi Place A8 in Taipei, Taiwan, which will reopen on Thursday, August 31.

◆Increasing awareness of the I-PRIMO brand

Opened in June 2008, I-PRIMO Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Xinyi Place A8 is I-PRIMO's third of eleven stores in Taiwan, one that has grown into one of the top-selling stores in the Taichung area during its fifteen years at this location; however, due to renovations to the department store, the I-PRIMO store will undergo store design renovations, then reopen in a new location. The relocation site, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi Place A8, is located next to Taipei 101, Taipei's landmark, and has gained popularity as a refined shopping destination with aerial walkways connecting four department stores. The area around the department stores is home to many jewelry brands, which is expected to lead to additional purchases among customers actively going out and looking to buy bridal jewelry now that COVID restrictions have been lifted.

 

◆A sophisticated space for customer service as a bridal jewelry specialty shop

With its relocation and renewal, the Zhongshan Store will have its design remodeled and its store display revamped for a new layout designed to make browsing easier. The entrance is designed spaciously to create a bright, open area, while a private space in the back lets customers choose a ring in comfort. The new location is designed with a desire to serve as a place where customers can select a bridal ring that will create the memory of a lifetime at their own pace through personalized support that listens to each customer's needs and proposes the optimal product.

 

◆Continued store openings to further advance business in mainland China

Since developing our first overseas store in Taiwan in October 2007, we have expanded our store locations to Hong Kong in 2012 and mainland China in 2016. As of the end of the fiscal period to August 2022, our overseas sales ratio has exceeded 40%, and we aim to make further progress by continuing to open stores overseas. In addition to the existing stores in mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, we opened our first store in Singapore in November 2022, and through fine service and hospitality and the I-PRIMO brand’s high Japanese standards of product quality, we intend to provide overseas customers with a wide range of purchases that will create the memory of a lifetime.
