Primo Global Holdings Co., Ltd. held a "Job Practice" event in Tokyo and Kumamoto on August 16 and 25 as part of its company-wide CSR effort "PRIMO RING PROJECT".

“Job Practice” is a self-support program for junior and senior high school students living in foster care facilities to help with job placement by the NPO Bridge for Smiles that aims to heighten their vision toward work through actual work experience. Primo Japan has been supporting this program every year since 2010, offering a unique bridal industry work experience program. This program is designed to communicate the appeal of the bridal industry to students, foster bright hopes for marriage, and create motivation to work.

Though the program had been held remotely for a few years since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year was the first time in three years that it was held in person. The program was joined by two students from Tokyo and four from Kumamoto, who received an explanation of the company, an etiquette course, and a customer service workshop. During the etiquette course, nervous students strove to exchange business cards the right way, while their cheers of joy and smiles that glittered like diamonds left an impression during the customer service workshop.

In the questionnaire given after the program, we received happy comments such as, “This was the most memorable experience I have had this summer!” which made us want to continue providing support to students in the future.

With locations in Japan, mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, Primo Global Holdings continues to grow as a global company with more than 1,000 employees. We believe that, even if individual efforts are small, working with one another to gradually expand the scope of our activities can lead to big efforts, so we continue to do “the best we can do” each day.
