Primo Japan Inc. announces that the former I-PRIMO Mong Kok Grand Plaza Store, located in the central district of Mong Kok in Kowloon, Hong Kong, will re-open as the I-PRIMO Kowloon Bay Telford Plaza Store on May 25, 2021 (Tues.).  

◆Telford Plaza：A large and popular shopping mall in eastern Kowloon

Located on the eastern part of the Kowloon peninsula, Kwun Tong has the largest population in Hong Kong, with a total of 690,000 people as of the end of 2020. (※１) The area around Kai Tak Airport has undergone redevelopment in recent years and is becoming an increasingly sought after location. For this store renovation, we will be re-opening in Telford Plaza, one of the largest shopping malls in the area, boasting a total floorspace of 83,000 square meters and 260 retail stores in operation, along with a movie theater and supermarket, situated in the heart of eastern Kowloon. With numerous jewelry brand stores located inside the mall, we can expect to attract customers who are shopping around in search of bridal jewelry. Thanks also to the mall’s extremely good location, with easy access via direct metro links to Kowloon Bay Station, we can also raise brand awareness for the I-PRIMO brand. 

◆Relocation & Renovation：An opportunity for increased brand value

With this relocation and renovation, we will change the layout of the store with an increased number of display cases without seating to make the spacious store interior more easily visible.
