The "PRIMO RING PROJECT" implemented job practice.
As part of its company-wide CSR initiative, "PRIMO RING PROJECT," Primo Global Holdings Co., Ltd., Ltd. conducted a "Job Practice" session on August 6th.
"Job Practice" is an independence support program conducted in collaboration with the certified NPO Bridge for Smile as part of employment support for junior and senior high school students living in children's homes and foster families. It aims to alleviate anxieties about the future by helping them to visualize what it's like to work while experiencing actual jobs. Primo Global Holdings has been supporting this program since 2010, and provides a unique career experience program in the bridal jewelry industry, conducted by members of the "PRIMO RING PROJECT."
This year's job practice program welcomed three high school students and one junior high school student to I-PRIMO Shinjuku store. In addition to company and industry explanations and etiquette training, they participated in customer service experience at the store. Through the customer service experience, they learned the basics of customer service and the importance of providing personalized service to each customer, by experiencing greetings and product information as they would in a bridal jewelry sales setting.
Students who participated shared comments such as, "I learned a lot of things that will be useful in the future," and "It was interesting to hear a variety of stories."
Going forward, through our "Job Practice" program, we will continue to support junior and senior high school students in expanding their potential and growing as members of society, and we hope that this will encourage them to think positively about working in the bridal jewelry industry and about their future marriage.
About the PRIMO RING PROJECT, a CSR activity that spreads the circle of happiness
The "PRIMO RING PROJECT" is run by enthusiastic and proactive members who have volunteered from all over Japan to actively promote our company's CSR activities. Every year, various activities are carried out based on four activity policies, and the members themselves handle all processes from ideation to execution and internal awareness campaigns. The goal is for the combined strength of each individual to create a ring of happiness that connects and spreads among employees, customers, business partners, and the local community. Currently, we are also working on activities aimed at creating a sustainable and better world from an SDG perspective.
