In 2002, he joined what is now Primo Japan Inc. and was appointed Representative Director and President in 2004. In addition to expanding the store network across Japan, he led the Group’s pioneering expansion into international markets, overseeing the entire Primo Group. Following the establishment of Primo Global Holdings Co., Ltd., he assumed the role of President and CEO in 2021.

In 2001, he joined what is now Primo Japan Inc. as a new graduate. After gaining experience as a Store Manager, Area Manager, and Head of Human Resources, he was appointed Director and General Manager of the Sales Division in 2009, overseeing all domestic stores. With the launch of the company’s mainland China operations in 2015, he was appointed Managing Director and General Manager, leading local operations on the ground for seven years. In 2022, he assumed his current role as President and CEO of Primo Japan Inc.

In 2001, he joined Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting (now ABeam Consulting), where he was involved in business process re-engineering (BPR) projects for various corporations. In 2004, he joined the Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan (IRCJ) to lead business turnaround cases. He joined Integral Corporation in 2009 and was appointed Partner in 2020. He possesses extensive experience in enhancing corporate value through hands-on involvement in management teams.

In 1987, he joined Vivre Co., Ltd. In 2004, he was appointed Executive Vice President of Primo Japan Inc. After concurrently serving as General Manager of the Administration Division, he became a Corporate Auditor in 2009. Following the establishment of Primo Global Holdings Co., Ltd., he was appointed a Full-time Corporate Auditor in 2021 and has served as a Full-time Audit and Supervisory Committee Member since 2023.

In 2004, she joined Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC, where she spent ten years engaged primarily in financial statement audits and internal control audits for listed companies, as well as providing support for IFRS implementation. Afterwards, she worked for three years at a tax accounting firm, gaining experience in tax practice. In 2017, she established the Akiko Ito CPA & Tax Accountant Office. She currently provides accounting and tax services, as well as internal audit and internal control support, mainly for listed companies and companies preparing for listing.

In 1991, she joined ORIX Corporation and held roles in Information Systems, Credit Screening, Investor Relations, and Finance. In 2014, she was appointed Managing Executive Officer and Director at ORIX Asset Management Corporation. In 2017, she became Deputy Head of the Credit and Investment Management Headquarters at ORIX Corporation. In 2019, she joined ORIX Bank as an Executive Officer, overseeing Risk Management and Sustainability. Since 2022, she has been working independently, launching a consulting business focused on supporting women’s career development.
