◆Background of the initiative at Mt. Fuji
Based on our corporate philosophy of "Making PRIMO (the best) dreams into PRIMO (supreme) happiness" we launched the company-wide CSR initiative "PRIMO RING PROJECT" in 2009 with the desire to fulfill the dreams of as many people as possible and bring them happiness. We conduct various activities every year based on four activity policies: "Staying close to our customers' feelings," "Delivering trustworthy products," "Cultivating a better working environment," and "Protecting the region and the environment and passing it on to the next generation." As part of these activities, we carried out forest conservation activities on Mount Fuji.
Our corporate logo embodies our values for "people" and "connections between people," as well as our idea of "spreading the spirit of Japanese hospitality widely overseas." It expresses the nuance of Mount Fuji, a symbol of Japan, reflected on the surface of water. We believe that this emphasis on "connections" is also connected to passing on values that transcend time, such as local communities and natural environments, to future generations.
Based on this philosophy, our company has been working with the certified NPO Fujisan Club since 2013 to continue environmental conservation activities around Mt. Fuji, and this marks our 13th year of such activities.
◆Activity Details
This year, we again solicited volunteers from outside the "PRIMO RING PROJECT" members, and 21 employees participated in this activity, which was held on June 11, 2026.
On that day, following the completion of the ongoing trail maintenance project, participants reflected on the progress and achievements of the work at the site. While receiving lectures, participants walked along the newly maintained paths and experienced firsthand the changes in the forest they had helped to create, deepening their understanding of the significance of the activity and the importance of continuing it.
At the site, we engaged in conservation activities around the area where the rare species "Rosa japonica," which is listed in the Ministry of the Environment's Red Data Book, grows naturally, and carried out work aimed at maintaining and restoring the natural environment.

Furthermore, as part of our efforts to create a new forest, we have been working on soil inspection and improvement (site preparation) and seedling collection to secure saplings in preparation for future tree planting, as well as installing protective nets to protect the seedlings from damage caused by deer.

Through this activity, we were able to experience firsthand the results of our past efforts and have the opportunity to contribute to creating new forests that will connect to future generations. Going forward, our company will continue to value consideration for the natural environment and our employees' voluntary social contribution activities, working towards the realization of a sustainable society.
About the PRIMO RING PROJECT, a CSR activity that spreads the circle of happiness
The "PRIMO RING PROJECT" is run by self-motivated and enthusiastic members from all over Japan who volunteered to actively promote our CSR activities. Every year, various activities based on four activity guidelines are carried out, and the members themselves handle all processes from the idea to execution and internal awareness. The goal is for the circle of happiness (ring) to connect and spread among employees, customers, business partners, and local people by combining the power of each individual. Currently, we are also working on activities aiming for a sustainable and better world from the perspective of SDGs.
