Primo Japan Inc. will open a new I-PRIMO LAZONA Kawasaki Store on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 on the 2nd floor of LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza, located directly across from JR Kawasaki Station in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture.

 

In 2017, it was announced that the population of Kawasaki exceeded 1.5 million people, and re-development continues in order to accommodate the many people accessing the city through multiple train lines coming into Kawasaki Station. LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza, a commercial center adjacent to JR Kawasaki Station, is now even more conveniently accessible thanks to a newly built North Ticket Gate that was completed in February 2018, making a welcome addition to the existing Central and West Ticket Gates. In addition to customers from Kawasaki, we expect to attract customers from Yokohama and the greater Tokyo metropolitan area due to these developments. To coincide with the large-scale renewal of LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza, the I-PRIMO LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza Store, our first location to open in Kawasaki, will be in the central part of the second floor, which is directly accessible from the new station entrance. 

 

Because LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza is one of the large-scale commercial centers characteristic of the Tokyo metropolitan area, built to accommodate a large number of shoppers each day, we have chosen a large display case storefront and have established a floorplan that allows customers to view and compare our products easily and comfortably as they move through the space. We have also installed private booths towards the inside of the store. Here, we have arranged sofas for those customers wishing to shop in a more private, relaxing atmosphere. Through our “personal customer support”, which provides a nice contrast to the hustle and bustle outside the store, we listen to each of our customers’ needs and offer personalized product recommendations so that our customers can select the perfect commemorative bridal jewelry to cherish for a lifetime.

 

In addition, due to the large resident population in the local area, we can expect to become a base for after sales services to customers who have made purchases at our other store locations throughout the Tokyo metropolitan area. By also offering “Anniversary Jewelry” for wedding anniversaries, childbirth and birthday celebrations, and other special events that color each person’s life, we aim to expand our business further as a go-to lifestyle brand for our customers.
