K.UNO Taichung Hanshin Store in Taiwan opens on Friday, April 10th.
K.UNO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, CEO: Koichi Aoki) and Primo Global Holdings Co., Ltd., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Naoki Sawano) will open their fourth store in Taiwan, "K.UNO Taichung Hanshen Store," on Friday, April 10th, through their joint venture in Taiwan, Kai Wu Roupu Limeng Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Da'an District, Taipei City, Chairman: Takashi Ito).
◆First store opening in a large-scale mixed-use commercial complex in Taichung City
K.Uno opened its first store in Taiwan in Taipei in August 2019, and this will be its first store in Taichung. Taichung, a major city in central Taiwan, is the second most populous city in Taiwan and is a growing city with a continuously increasing population. It is an area where high purchasing power is expected, particularly among young people and families, and is anticipated to see an expansion in demand for fashion and bridal-related products.
The Hanshin Taichung InterContinental, also scheduled to open on the same day, is a large-scale mixed-use commercial complex featuring over 500 Taiwanese and international brands, and is attracting attention as a new landmark in Taichung City.
◆Store design and product lineup
The store design inherits K.Uno's concept of "a shop where fairies who create jewelry of happiness reside." With the desire to "let customers enjoy choosing jewelry in a dreamy space," the design features a space surrounded by soft curves reminiscent of Art Nouveau.
K.Uno specializes in bespoke jewelry, leveraging design proposals from jewelry designers and the craftsmanship of skilled artisans. They create over 40,000 different designs annually, including engagement rings, wedding rings, fashion jewelry such as necklaces and rings, and watches.
We will continue to cultivate new customers in the Taiwanese market and convey the unique aesthetics and craftsmanship of the K.UNO brand.
