◆Why Mount Fuji?
Based on our corporate philosophy of "Making PRIMO (the best) dreams into PRIMO (supreme) happiness" and with the desire to make as many people's dreams come true and bring happiness to them, we launched the "PRIMO RING PROJECT," an internal cross-sectional CSR activity, in 2009. We carry out various activities every year based on the four action policies of "being close to the customer's thoughts," "delivering reliable products," "fostering a better working environment," and "protecting the local community and environment and passing it on to the next generation." This time, we carried out forest conservation activities on Mt. Fuji as part of our activities to "protect the local community and environment and pass it on to the next generation."
Our corporate logo has the nuance of Mt. Fuji, a symbol of Japan, reflected on the water to express the meaning of "people" and "bonds between people" that we value, as well as the idea of "widely spreading the Japanese spirit of hospitality overseas." Since 2013, we have been working with the NPO Mt. Fuji Club to continue forest conservation activities around Mt. Fuji, which is associated with our corporate logo, and this year marks our 12th year.
◆Activity Details
This year, we again solicited volunteers from non-members of the "PRIMO RING PROJECT," and 17 employees participated in this activity, which took place on May 22, 2025. Continuing from last year, we created a walkway using thinned wood as part of our forest conservation activities. Thinning is an essential task for promoting healthy forest growth. This time, by making effective use of the wood obtained from thinning, we were able to achieve a balance between resource circulation and forest development.
The participants selected and transported pieces of wood of the appropriate length and thickness for the sidewalk, then hammered them into place, carefully fastening each piece to the desired location. Teamwork naturally developed as participants called out to each other and provided support during the work, creating a sense of unity that transcended departments and positions.
Participants also had the opportunity to see the sidewalks that they had constructed with their own hands last year, with some saying things like, "I had been wondering what the roads we constructed would look like after a year, so I was thrilled to actually be able to see them," providing an opportunity to once again feel the importance of persistence and a sense of accomplishment.
Primo Global Holdings will continue to take steps towards a sustainable future while valuing consideration for the natural environment and the voluntary social contribution activities of its employees.

About the PRIMO RING PROJECT, a CSR activity that spreads the circle of happiness
The "PRIMO RING PROJECT" is run by self-motivated and enthusiastic members from all over Japan who volunteered to actively promote our CSR activities. Every year, various activities based on four activity guidelines are carried out, and the members themselves handle all processes from the idea to execution and internal awareness. The goal is for the circle of happiness (ring) to connect and spread among employees, customers, business partners, and local people by combining the power of each individual. Currently, we are also working on activities aiming for a sustainable and better world from the perspective of SDGs.
